“ Great meal after a day in Navasota. Serve was perfect and the fried okra is fresh and hand breaded. We had the chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steak. The gravy was SO good and was the perfect topper to our crispy meals. The bar was nicely stocked and the beer was cold. Couldn't ask for much more. I definitely recommend you stop in for good food! ”
“ HS&S is our"stop for lunch on the way to Carmine. Your basic fried seafood kind of place. Booths with sprung springs( but aren't they all) There are 3 men to every woman here. Quiet. A nice mixture of industrial workers, farmers, Prairie bee A& M folks. We always get the 2 fried catfish with 6 fried shrimp and split it. Fast friendly service. Good food. Love the condiments in the old style picnic squeeze tubes. Note: cocktail sauce is in the yellow "mustard" container! ”
